Surat-Thani
is one of the biggest provinces
in the south of Thailand situated
on the East Coast of Thailand. Moreover, it is strategically placed between
other economically important provinces in southern Thailand such as Phuket,
Chumphon, Ranong, Phangnga, Krabi and Nakhonsi-Thammarat. Surat-Thani is well-connected
to these provinces by a very good highway system, hence making Surat-Thani an
ideal hub.
Our
port is situated on the bank
of Tarpee River , Surat-Thani.
Its purpose is to accommodate
loading and unloading of bulk
products such as gypsum, anhydrite,
cement etc. Furthermore, with a large area together with a length of 350 meters,
our port would also be suitable for handing containers as well as other commodities
.
In fact, a barge capacity of
DWT 10,000 could easily load
along side our port. In case
of higher capacity, we are
able to use the feeder service
vessel to load the products.
Our Stevedore team is one of
the fully equipped and well-organized
team. The anchorage point can
accompany bulk cargo vessel
up to 50,000 DWT.
Moreover, our port is fitted
with metal detector to eliminate
metallic residues from our
products. Conveyor Belt has
a capacity to deliver 1,200
tons of bulk products per hour.
